Small Nucleolar RNAs (snoRNAs) from the Yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae:

A comprehensive database of

S. cerevisiae H/ACA and C/D box snoRNAs.
VERSION 2.0

The sequence and numbering for the rRNA differs from those used in the previous version of the database, and from those used in some publications. The rRNA sequences used here are numbered as found at the Saccharomyces Genome Database. See the Information page for more details.

What's new

October 2006:
A fully-functioning upgraded database is now available here.

February 2007:
A manuscript describing the tools available here and the upgrading of the database is now published in RNA.

July 2008:
Several links concerning enzymes involved in modfications updated.

March 2009:
A version of the 3D modification map for yeast was added where the parts of the A-site tRNA (nts 1-25 and 45-76) not visible in the 2.8 Å structure were added back for a complete A-site tRNA. This was done by modeling the 5.5 Å structure (1gix/1jgo) tRNAs onto the tRNAs in the 2.8 Å structure and removing all the 5.5 Å structure tRNA atoms except for those not visible in the 2.8 Å structure. These new map interface includes a tRNA Nucleotide selector feature on the bottom panel of convenience buttons as well.

April 2009:
Added new content to snR30.

January 2010:
Added new content to U3.

April 2010:
Added new content concerning the modification of the hypermodified site in the small ribosomal subunit RNA (SSU-1191).
